Valve Offers Users Private Game Hiding

Valve is introducing a new feature on the Steam platform, allowing users to hide the games they own as they wish. This is a very welcome development, especially for users who encounter strange games bought by their friends.

Valve's new feature, revealed by SteamDB, will allow you to mark individual games in your library as "private". This means that, for example, if a friend "gifted" you a game that you don't want to reveal to your friends and loved ones, you'll be able to hide it with just one click.
