Signs indicate that Minecraft may be coming to PS5 as well. While there hasn't been an official announcement yet, a post made by a user named PlaystationSize, who tracks the PlayStation store's database, has caught attention.

Minecraft is currently playable on PS5 through backward compatibility. However, this means that the full potential of the current Sony console's technical specifications cannot be utilized. It seems that Microsoft may intervene to delight PS5 users with a move. At least, a recent post could be considered as a hint in this direction.
Recently, the user account PlaystationSize shared a Minecraft image with the comment 'PS5 Version.' This could be a sign that we will soon see a PS5 version equivalent to the Xbox Series version. While there hasn't been any official confirmation or denial from the American-based company yet, we may not have to wait too long for an announcement.
Last year, the Xbox Series version was rated by various rating organizations. Although Microsoft claimed it was part of standard approvals, the Xbox Series version of the game was recently updated with 4K support. While support for ray tracing technology was implied by Microsoft before the release of the current-gen consoles, unfortunately, shortly after being mistakenly added to the preview version for Xbox Insiders by Mojang in 2021, it was removed.
