New Maps and More Added to Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite's newly launched Combined Arms Operation event adds a series of classic Halo 3 maps and a host of other multiplayer bonuses.

1. Enriched Event with a New Battle Pass

2. Classic Halo 3 Maps Revived

Players can enjoy the nostalgia of classic Halo 3 maps such as Banished Narrows, Cliffside and Domicile, recreated using Halo Infinite's Forge Mode.

New Battle Pass and Maps

The latest release of Halo, Microsoft's massively influential sci-fi FPS series, was initially hailed as a fresh spin on late 2021. However, Halo Infinite's live-service model has become controversial over time. Developer 343 Industries is working to rectify this, adding interesting new features and items with Halo Infinite's fifth Season, "Reckoning," which kicks off in October.

New Halo Infinite content is not slowing down, as a new Operation called "Combined Arms" has now been launched. This is the first installment of an event series that adds a 20-stage Battle Pass that allows players to unlock new stages and cosmetics in a more streamlined fashion than previous Halo Infinite seasons. One of the most notable (and controversial) rewards in this event is the Master Chief from the original Halo: Combat Evolved, though the Combined Arms pass draws more of its nostalgic content from 2007's Halo 3.

New Maps and Nostalgia

Halo Infinite Combined Arms Operation is active now and will run from November 14th through December 19th. This new Battle Pass is Halo 3 Refueled content created with Halo Infinite's returning Forge Mode, featuring classic Halo 3 maps. Players will experience nostalgia as they explore classic Halo 3 maps such as Banished Narrows, Cliffside and Domicile.

Also returning to stores temporarily is the Critical Dewpoint map, inspired by the Halo 3-themed Mountain Dew Citrus Cherry flavor. The new Halo 3-inspired maps encourage players to make the most of Halo Infinite's Combined Arms Operation transition.

The future of Halo Infinite is currently uncertain, but 343 Industries is rumored to be working on a new Halo single-player campaign despite the recent layoffs at Microsoft. In the meantime, nostalgic fans can battle their way through a series of classic Halo 3 maps in the newly released Halo Infinite Combined Arms Operation event, which runs until December 19th
